At West End School, we recognise that The Arts are vital for helping every child be their "Best Me" by encouraging self-expression, creativity, and exploration of interests. Our students immerse themselves in a variety of visual arts, with their passionate creations proudly displayed both in the classroom and around the school. Beyond the visual, we foster performance skills through participation in dance competitions and exciting stage performances at the Regent Theatre. This year, our school hosted an enriching Cultural Art Gallery where students explored diverse global cultures and produced representative artwork. We also celebrated our talents at an Arts Performance Showcase, featuring our dynamic choir, dance, ukulele, percussion, music making, Kapa Haka, and drama groups. Furthermore, children can extend their musical passion by participating in a range of music lessons provided by EPIC Music, learning instruments like the drums, keyboard, and guitar.
